Man Shot in Leg in Farmingville

Sixth Squad detectives are investigating an incident in which a man was shot in his leg outside a residence in Farmingville Wednesday evening, police said.

According to police, two men who are known to each other were having a dispute outside a home on Avenue D, at the intersection of Crestwood Lane, when one of the men shot the other in the leg at about 5:45 p.m.

The man who was shot suffered minor injuries to the leg. The shooter fled the scene. No arrests have been made.
