Masked Man Approaches Sachem Student at Bus Stop

A Sachem High School North student says she was approached by a masked man at a bus stop in Holbrook Thursday morning.

Here's the note from Sachem Superintendent Kenneth Graham:

Earlier this evening we learned of an incident that occurred this morning at one of our bus stops for Sachem North High School.

As one of our students walked to her bus stop in the morning she noticed a man wearing a mask who was appearing to move toward her. The student returned to her house and the man went away. This incident occurred near the corner of North 2nd and Coates Ave North.

We are committed to maintaining a safe and secure learning environment and our district administrators and security team will continue to work with our local police departments toward doing so.
