Massive Stash Of Drugs Found In Suffolk County Home: Police
BREAKING: A 36-year-old man faces numerous felony charges after a search warrant was executed at his home Thursday, police say.
RONKONKOMA, NY – A 36-year-old man was arrested after police found several pounds of drugs inside his Suffolk County home Thursday afternoon, state police said.
Members of the state police Troop L Gun Investigation Unit, Narcotics Enforcement Unit and Forensic Identification Unit, along with the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Postal Inspector and Suffolk County Police ESU, executed a search warrant in the 2000 block of Ocean Avenue in Ronkonkoma around 2:47 p.m.
Police arrested Lawrence Ross, who lives at the residence, for possession of more than two pounds of Xanax, 50 grams of cocaine, more than 460 grams of marijuana, more than two and three-quarter pounds of MDMA (ecstasy) and $5,045 in cash, police said.

Ross is charged with second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of fourth- degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third-degree criminal possession of marijuana and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Another person who lives at the home, 60-year-old Rollis Ross, was arrested for possession of about 115 grams of marijuana, $1,020 in cash and a large amount of fireworks, police said. Rollis Ross was issued an appearance ticket for fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of fireworks.
