Nick Neri continues to smash the record board. He now holds 6 Sachem East High School Swimming records!
Neri, breaks another school record
Nick Neri took 1st place at the suffolk county championships Feb 18th in the 50 free style with a 21.54 and broke a decade old record previously held by Brian Robertson 21.95 in 2007.
He also broke his own school record for a third time in the 100 free style with a 47.85 (took third place ) and then came back to lead off the 400 free relay and beat it again a fourth time with a 47.52.
Nick's 400 free relay team also broke a school record with a 3:20.87. The relay was lead off by Nick Neri, Michael Dowd, Joe Monteverdi and Vincent Budke. The previous record was a 3:21 from 2005. outstanding job.
Neri holds school records in:
200 IM, 50 Free, 100 Free, 100 back, 100 Breast and 400 Free Relay.
He has committed to Florida Atlantic University a division 1 swimming program in Boca Raton Florida and is very excited to be part of the Owls swim team. He thanks his teammates and coaches for their support throughout the years.
