NYPD Officer From Long Island Had Phone Sex, Sent Lewd Video to Teen: Police
The 38-year-old officer has reportedly been suspended without pay following his arrest last Friday.
An NYPD officer from Long Island is accused of having phone sex with a 16-year-old girl and sending her a 21-second video of himself masturbating, according to multiple reports.
David P. Stagliano, of Ronkonkoma, was arrested last Friday and charged with first degree disseminating indecent material to minors, a felony, and acting in a manner injurious to a child under the age of 17, a misdemeanor, according to court records.
The Daily News broke the story Wednesday morning, reporting that a criminal complaint accuses Stagliano, 38, of sending the Long Island girl a cellphone video of himself masturbating and then engaging in phone sex with her.

Stagliano, a member of the NYPD's mounted unit, has been suspended without pay, Newsday reported.
He was released on $5,000 bond following an arraignment on Saturday. He's due back in court on Thursday.
