One Taken to Hospital After 2-Car Crash on LIE

HOLTSVILLE, NY - A man was taken to the hospital with minor injuries following a two-car crash on the Long Island Expressway Thursday afternoon.

The Holtsville Fire Department was alerted to an accident with a reported overturn on the eastbound side of the LIE near Exit 62–Nicolls Road at about 4 p.m.

The driver of the overturned vehicle was able to escape with minor injuries. He was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital.
