Plane Bound For VA Lands Safely After Generator Issue At LI MacArthur Airport, Prompting Investigation: FAA
It was headed from Nantucket Memorial Airport in Massachusetts to Norfolk International Airport in Virginia, the FAA said.
RONKONKOMA, NY — The pilot of a plane bound for Virginia landed it safely at Long Island MacArthur Airport after a generator issue on Sunday afternoon, prompting an investigation by the Federal Aviation Administration, a spokeswoman said.
The Wheels-up Flight 684 landed safely at the airport at around 3:35 p.m., after the pilot reported a possible generator issue, she said.
The Embraer Phenom 300 was headed from Nantucket Memorial Airport in Massachusetts to Norfolk International Airport in Virginia, according to the agency.
