Police: Back-to-Back Armed Robberies in Holbrook Monday Night
No one hurt after businesses held up by different men.

Police are investigating two armed robberies that occurred within an hour of each other in Holbrook on Monday night.
In the first incident, police say a man entered the BP gas station at 5665 Sunrise Highway at 9:20 p.m. and displayed a handgun. The man, described as black and about 6-feet tall, demanded cash, but fled without any proceeds, police said.
In the second incident, a man entered Lombardi’s Frozen Market at 1051 Main Street at 10 p.m. and displayed a knife. The man, described as white, stole cash and fled the scene.

No one was hurt in either incident and no arrests have been made. Police did not say whether they believe the holdups are connected at all, but based on the suspects’ descriptions, they are not believed to have been committed by the same person.
