Police: Drunk Lake Ronkonkoma Man Drives Car Into Neighbor's House

A Lake Ronkonkoma man faces a DWI charge after police say he drove his car into his next door neighbor’s house early Sunday.

According to police, Dallas Vadala, 20, was traveling north on Lakeside Drive in a 2010 Hyundai Sonata when he lost control of the vehicle and drove up onto the lawn and through the front door of a house at 3 Campus Lane.

There were two residents inside the house at the time, but no injuries were reported.

Vadala, who lives at 1 Campus Lane, was arrested at the scene and charged with DWI. He was held at the Sixth Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned Sunday morning at First District Court in Central Islip.
