Police Release Photos of Lake Ronkonkoma Bank Robber

Police on Wednesday released surveillance photos of a man wanted for robbing a Lake Ronkonkoma bank last week.

According to police, the man pictured above entered Chase Bank, located at 130 Portion Road, approached a teller and produced a note demanding cash on the afternoon on April 6. The teller complied and gave the suspect cash from the drawer. The man fled on foot in an unknown direction.

The robber was described as a white male, between 20 and 25-years-old, approximately 5-foot-5 with a heavy build. He was clean-shaven and was wearing a dark baseball hat and dark colored hooded sweatshirt at the time of the robbery.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential.
