Police Respond To 4 Long Island Schools
Disturbing social media posts and a report of a hit list led to police investigating at schools in both counties Friday.

Police responded to four Long Island schools on Friday to investigate threats made on social media as well as a reported hit list.
All four incidents were either deemed non-criminal or unfounded, but there's heightened awareness over any potential threats just two days after a gunman killed 17 people, including a Long Island native credited with saving students' lives, at a Florida high school.
