Police Searching For Female Suspect In 2nd Swipe Of More Than $700 From Ulta In Selden

This incident happened at the College Plaza location a day before, on Aug. 9, at around 2:30 p.m., Suffolk police say.

SELDEN, NY — Suffolk police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a second suspect they say swiped more than $700 worth of beauty products from Ulta in Selden this month.

A woman swiped the products from the College Plaza store on Aug. 9 at around 2:30 p.m., police said.

In images from security video, the woman can be seen wearing a pink Yankees baseball cap, a plaid shirt over a dark-colored t-shirt, and her hair was in a long braid.

The crime has been classified petty larceny.

Another female suspect is also wanted for a similar incident on Aug. 10.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest in the case. Anyone with information about the incidents can submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, a confidential police hotline, or by using a mobile app, which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips.

Tips can also be submitted online at P3Tips.com. All calls, text messages, and emails will be kept confidential, police said.
