Police Seeking Man Who Attempted to Rob Lake Ronkonkoma Gas Station
Photos of suspect released Tuesday. Reward offered for info leading to an arrest.
LAKE RONKONKOMA, NY - Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a man who attempted to rob a Lake Ronkonkoma gas station last month.
According to police, the man entered BP Gas, located at 85 Church St., on Nov. 30 at 9:09 p.m., approached an attendant and displayed a handgun.
The attendant pushed the man, who then fled on foot west on Church Street without any proceeds. The robber was described as white, thin, approximately 6-feet tall with short hair. He was wearing a gray sweatshirt and a mask.

Police released four surveillance photos on Tuesday that show the man confronting the attendant.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
