Police Seeking Public's Help to Find Suffolk County Bank Robber, Reward Offered

BREAKING: Police have just released surveillance video and photos from the robbery, which occurred last week.

Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a man who robbed a Suffolk County bank last week.

According to Suffolk Police, a man entered Bridgehampton National Bank located at 4155 Veterans Memorial Highway in Ronkonkoma at 2:56 p.m. on Jan. 6, approached a teller and displayed a note demanding cash. The teller complied and the man fled on foot.

The robber, believed to be in his 20s, was described as white, thin, with a light complexion and dark facial hair on his chin. He was wearing a black hooded pullover sweatshirt with an ADIO logo, glasses and a faded red baseball cap with a flag and an American Eagle logo.

Police have now released surveillance video (watch it below) and photos from the robbery.

Police are asking anyone with information on the robbery to call the Major Case Unit at 631-852-6555 or call anonymously at 1-800-220-TIPS. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
