Police Seeking Suspect In Lake Ronkonkoma Assault

LAKE RONKONKOMA, NY – Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a man who they say assaulted another man in Lake Ronkonkoma in August.

A group of men assaulted a man at home located on Benoni Avenue, just south of Portion Road, on Aug. 5 at 1:53 a.m. When the victim escaped and called the police, the attackers fled the scene. One of the suspects is pictured above.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
