Port Jefferson Man Slapped With DWI Charge After Centereach Crash That Hurt 2: Police
A man, 42, and a woman, 37, were both taken to Stony Brook University Hospital, Suffolk police say.
CENTEREACH, NY — A Port Jefferson man was arrested in connection with drunken driving after Suffolk police say his vehicle collided with another in Centereach on Saturday night.
Just after 8 p.m., the 42-year-old man was driving a 1998 Ford when his vehicle collided with a 2013 Mazda traveling southbound on North Coleman Road, according to police.
The man, and a 37-year-old woman, who was behind the wheel of the Mazda, were both taken to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
