LAKE GROVE, NY — The residents of a home that caught fire in Lake Grove escaped to safety on Wednesday morning, Suffolk police said.

The fire broke out at a home on Lindell Avenue and Penn Street, according to a witness. It started at 7:30 a.m. and Arson Squad detectives responded to the scene, police said.

No further details were released.
