Brawl Breaks Out After Long Island High School Graduation [Video]
A day of celebration turned into a scary scene outside a Long Island high school Sunday afternoon.
MASTIC BEACH, NY – Police were called to William Floyd High School Sunday afternoon when a brawl broke out in front of the school following a graduation ceremony.
In a video posted on Facebook, two women are fighting on the ground with a large group around them. When one of the women stands up, blood can be seen running down her face.
The William Floyd graduation ceremony began at 10 a.m. Suffolk Police say they were called to the school in Mastic Beach at noon. The group dispersed when police arrived, a police spokesperson told Patch. No arrests have been made.

The William Floyd School District released the following statement Sunday night:
As a school and community, we won't let the small number of spectators involved in inappropriate behavior overshadow the accomplishments of so many wonderful students and their families celebrating graduation day. Many of our students are headed to the finest colleges and universities in the world, will serve honorably in the armed forces or begin the initial steps of their careers after learning valuable skills in one of our career and technical education academies. Graduation day is about them.
