Prepared Foods Cook: Whole Foods Market is looking for a full time _prepared foods cook_ to join its team in Lake Grove. The position involves maintaining and preparing food for the store's hot case, cold case, fresh pack and salad bar, as well as managing the upkeep of the Prepared Foods display. The prepared foods cook is also expected to provide friendly customer service and support the regional Prepared Foods vision. Requirements include a flexible schedule, basic knowledge of ingredient information and nutri-facts for Prepared Foods products, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push carts carrying up to 100 pounds.

Retail Sales Representative: Are you interested in working for one of the largest mobile network operators in the country? Verizon Wireless is looking for a _retail sales representative_ for its Lake Grove store, and requires just 1-2 years of sales experience in a commission environment. This position comes with a variety of benefits, including award-winning training, a competitive salary, medical/dental/vision insurance, a 401(k), work-life programs, phone discounts and generous tuition assistance. A college degree and bilingual Spanish skills are a plus but not required.

Sales Support Representative: AT&T in Lake Grove is also hiring this week. They are looking for a _sales support representative to be responsible for ordering, shipping, receiving, organizing and merchandising inventory. Duties also include performing monthly inventory audits, reconciling discrepancies, assisting customers with purchases and answering inbound calls. Qualifications for this position include 1-3 years of customer facing experience, a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays, being able to stand for long periods of time and capable of lifting up to 25 pounds.

Loss Prevention Associate: Kmart in Farmingville is looking for a _loss prevention associate to be responsible for protecting company assets. The position requires the associate to assist in the reduction of loss of inventory, time, and assets, monitor surveillance equipment, and apprehend shoplifting suspects._  Kmart's comprehensive and competitive benefits program includes medical and dental plans, short- and long-term disability, a 401(k), merchandise discounts and vacation time among others.

Team Leader: Airport retailer The Paradies Shops is looking for a team leader to assist in running its Islip location at MacArthur Airport. Candidates should have a minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience, basic math and computer literacy skills and be able to stand for 7-8 hours and lift up to 50 pounds. Requirements of the position range from training sales associates to maximize First Class customer service to ensuring the efficient handling of all cash receipts.

Software Quality Engineer: If you are a software quality engineer with at least three years of experience testing .NET applications, you might be interested in the position available at CyberCoders in Holbrook. The candidate will use testing tools to plan, manage and document test results, create reusable SQL queries, review business and function specifications for testability and implement his or her ideas for test process improvements. You must have knowledge of ETL tools, SQL scripting experience and knowledge of the software development lifecycle and processes for software testing/quality assurance guidelines to qualify for this position.

Home Health Aide: A home health aide is needed in Centereach to care for an 85-year-old patient with dementia. The schedule for this position is from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Mondays and Fridays, during school vacations and other times as needed. The ideal candidate will have reliable transportation, be a non-smoker, be comfortable with pets and have a high school diploma.
