The New York National Guard is hiring unit supply specialists in Ronkonkoma to oversee the shipping, storage and supply of equipment to ensure that soldiers have what they need. Chosen candidates will receive paid training for this position during a 10-week Basic Training course followed by a 6-week Advanced Individual Training program. Applicants must have at least one year of experience working in a Barnes & Noble College Bookstore using the Text-Aid system and must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and data entry. A bachelor's degree is preferred for this position.

Stock Associates: Looking for a job in retail? The Children’s Place in the Lake Grove Smith Haven Mall is seeking a stock associate to support its Store Leadership Team. Duties include engaging customers, handling concerns and organizing the stockroom. Working hours for the stock associate will vary, but can include overnight, evening, weekend and call-in shifts. This position involves heavy lifting and climbing, so only those physically capable should apply.

Raymour & Flanigan is also hiring a store stock associate for its Lake Grove showroom.
