  1. Suffolk Arrest Report: Feb. 5. Check out the most recent arrest report for our area and throughout Suffolk County. Burglaries and car thefts have been on the rise, so make sure you always keep your doors locked and never leave your car running unattended. (Sachem Patch)
  2. Sachem East Boys' Basketball upsets Riverhead. It has been a tough season for Sachem East Basketball consistently being in last place, but they upset Riverhead on their Senior Night 71-61. The Arrows were twice down by 17 points but had two comebacks and eventually got the win. The Flaming Arrows outscored Riverhead 28-6 in the third quarter to seal the comeback.   3. In celebration of Black History Month, the Suffolk County Department Of Health Services highlights black health and wellness. The Suffolk County Department of Health Services' Office of Minority Health is collaborating with SUNY Stony Brook, SUNY Suffolk, the Suffolk County Multicultural Advisory Committee, and the Alzheimer's Association of Long Island to highlight black health and wellness throughout Black History Month. "As we celebrate Black History Month, we continue to tackle health disparities and keep equity at the heart of all we do," said Suffolk County Health Commissioner Dr. Gregson Pigott.
