- ICYMI: Federal judge dismisses student's hacking lawsuit against Sachem Schools. The lawsuit was brought about by Matthew Colicchi's mother when she claimed he was forced to do unpaid work at the school after he got caught hacking into their computer system and stealing thousands of student records and posting them online. He was charged for trespassing in 2013 and the mother's lawsuit was filed shortly after. "In the lawsuit filings, the lawyers for the defendants claimed that "the record is 'devoid of evidence supporting Matthew's claims that he was forced to work for the District without his parents' permission and ordered not to tell his parents."(Sachem Patch)
