🌱 Sachem Daily: COVID-19 Numbers Still Low + LI Week In Review

The quickest way to get caught up on the most important things happening today in Sachem.

(Patch Media)

Good morning, neighbors! It's me again, Andrew Tessler, your host of the Sachem Daily.

First, today's weather:

Occasional rain, mainly early. High: 48 low: 40.

Here are the top stories in Sachem today:

  1. ICYMI: Recent Ronkonkoma area burglaries unrelated to October burglaries. If you have been following Sachem Patch over the past year, you've seen how many burglaries of businesses we have reported on. In a recent report, police have said that the new string of burglaries over the past month are unrelated to the ones from October. "The investigations are ongoing, and nothing is being ruled out at this time," a spokeswoman wrote in an email Thursday. (Sachem Patch)
  2. COVID-19 numbers still very low. In case you haven't noticed, we haven't had to post any COVID-19 updates in quite some time. That's great news, and with an update today cases are still very low. You can see all the numbers on a daily basis in Suffolk County's daily report. (Suffolk County Government)
  3. Long Island week in review. Take a look at all the biggest news Long Island Patch sites covered this week with our week in review. Click on the stories for more information and location on the coverage! (Patch)
