🌱 Sachem Daily: Known Drug Dealer Arrested + Weather This Week
The quickest way to get caught up on the most important things happening today in Sachem.

Hey, Sachem! It's Monday, so let's get you started with everything you need to know going on around town today.
First, today's weather:
A bit of afternoon rain. High: 58 low: 36.
Here are the top 3 stories today in Sachem:
- Duo stripped nearly 50 Catalytic Converters from cars in Holstville and Melville last month. "Police said Blaise Marckesano, 37, of Shirley and Jonathan Martinez, 31, of Manorville stole 49 catalytic converters, including 39 from a location on Middle Avenue in Holtsville, and 10 from a Long Island Avenue, Medford, location between Feb. 17 and Feb. 28." Each suspect was charged counts of first-degree auto stripping. They were released and due back in court on March 14. (Sachem Patch)
- 'Known Drug Dealer' busted in Centereach. Donald Goodwin was under surveillance last week by the Anti-crime officers from the Second Precinct while he was caught doing a hand-to-hand transaction. Officers pulled 31-year-old Goodwin over where he was found to have two guns, over $100K in cash, and a quantity of Methadone and Fentanyl. Goodwin, 31, was charged with two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, as well as two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a controlled substance. (Sachem Patch)
- Another wild week of weather ahead. As we head into the second week of March, more crazy inconsistent weather is coming in our direction. We start the week very warm, but by the weekend we are back into the 30s again. Enjoy today as we will be above 60 temperatures which won't last very long. It seems as if the snow is finished for the year, but you never know in March and April on Long Island. (Sachem Patch)
