🌱 Sachem Daily: Man Reported Missing + Blizzard Conditions Sat.

Here are the top 3 stories in Sachem today:

  1. Centereach man last Seen Jan. 18 reported missing: Suffolk Police. A Centereach man who was last seen nearly ten days ago has been reported missing. Justin Lee, a 34-year-old who suffers from schizophrenia and is bipolar, was last seen near his home, police said. Lee is Black, stands at 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs about 200 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes, and has a scar on his nose, and a gold front tooth. On his right arm, he has tattoos, including "Helen" and "RIP Helen 1957-2002" with praying hands. He also has a tattoo of "MOB" on his chest. (Sachem Patch)
  2. Blizzard conditions expected Saturday. As we have been updating you on this storm since the beginning of the week, things are now looking pretty nasty. The Weather Service has issued a town-by-town snowfall estimate, and it's looking very grim. There still remains high uncertainty with the storm's track but heavy accumulations and winds are almost guaranteed. Our area is looking at 12 inches of snow, with potentially 20 inches depending on the track of the storm. (Sachem Patch)
  3. ICYMI: 1st March St. Patrick's parade set for Ronkonkoma since COVID-19. Hang on people, only a couple more months until we get warmer temperatures and events put on hold due to COVID-19 are coming back. The first March St. Patrick's Day parade in Ronkonkoma since the COVID-19 pandemic has been planned for March 27, according to the parade committee's Facebook page. The 31st annual parade will step off at 2 p.m. with Grand Marshal Gerry McMenamin leading the line of march at Patchogue -Holbrook Road and Portion Road. (Sachem Patch)
