But first, today's weather:
Windy with clearing. High: 62 low: 49.
Here are the top 3 stories in Sachem today:
- Patch Block Talk - good neighbors help without being asked. In our latest installment of Patch Block Talk, we asked readers around the country to share their stories about the best neighbors they've had. The responses were quite interesting and truly wonderful to read, and you can see them by clicking the link1
- Check out five new houses for sale in the Town of Brookhaven. All the homes were recently put on the market and range in price and location. Click the photo of the home for more information on the listing. (Sachem Patch)
- ICYMI: New mental health program will launch Monday. The Guide to Your Personal Resiliency Pack Program will educate people on mental health resiliency. The pandemic brought on high rates of mental health issues in Suffolk County and the county hopes this will give people the tools to combat their mental health issues. "Earlier this year, we partnered with a variety of mental health experts to provide vital information and coping mechanisms to veterans," County Executive Steve Ballone said. "Now we're proud to offer a more inclusive program to students and all community members." (Sachem Patch)
Today in Sachem:
