  1. ICYMI: Local rescue partners with Holbrook pizza shop to get animals adopted. Joe's Pizza & Pasta is partnering with Last Chance Animal Rescue all weekend to showcase their adoptable animals and to get the word out about Animal Rescue. All donations made at the pizza shop will be matched by Joe's and flyers will be given out with each pizza box that highlight animals up for adoption.   2. Patch to introduce Local Businesses to connect you with top-rated local professionals. "With Local Businesses, you can quickly search to find Sachem area professionals who are ready and eager to help you tackle that to-do list.   3. Hochul gives green light for to-go drinks for 3 years. As part of the 2023 budget, Gov. Kathy Hochul announced that bars and restaurants can sell to-go drinks at "appropriate" limitations for three years. "New York's nightlife and hospitality industry is second to none, and by allowing the sale of to-go drinks we will continue to support the industry's recovery from the pandemic," Hochul said. "Cheers to both Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins and Speaker Carl Heastie for their help in making this change, which will drive business for the hospitality industry and be a lifeline, helping them comeback stronger than before."
