- Breeze Airways 'pop-Up' flight from Islip's MacArthur will fly to Kentucky Derby. The Town of Islip announced that Breeze Airways will have a pop-up weekend of flights to and from the Kentucky Derby in May. The flights take off May 5 from Macarthur and land in Louisville, Kentucky. The return flights will be Sunday, May 8. "The new airline is looking to connect underserved regional airports and Breeze coming to MacArthur was a major boon to Suffolk's airport, looking to expand destinations, tourism and flights." - Suffolk Police looking for Centereach port pirate. Suffolk County police are looking for the man who stole a package off a home on Main Ave. on Feb 24. The suspect was wearing a red, white, and blue coat along with a face covering. If you have any information, call Suffolk County Crimestoppers at 1-800-221-TIPS. (Sachem Patch)
- Residents call for AG Probe of Suffolk Legislature Nick Caracappa. Caracappa was arrested two years ago after being accused of choking his ex-wife. The case is under consideration to be dropped if Caracappa stays away from her and stays out of trouble for the next year. Some residents say that his ex-wife was given a tax-payer job to hush her up about the situation. Some residents are also looking for Attorney General Tish James to open up an investigation on corruption regarding the situation. We will keep you updated on this story as it unfolds. (Sachem Patch)
