The quickest way to get caught up on the most important things happening today in Sachem.

Hello all. It's me, Andrew Tessler, your host of the Sachem Daily. Let's get this weekend started off right, with a quick dive into the most important things happening in town these days...
First, today's weather:
Mostly sunny and warmer. High: 85 low: 66.
Here are the top 3 stories today in Sachem:
- Weekend weather forecast shaping up to perfection. As we head into the weekend, the sun will be shining, and temperatures will be in the mid 80s. It's a perfect first weekend of summer to hit the beach and catch some rays and we hope you enjoy it! (Patch)
- Ronkonkoma mother searching for kidney donor to help her 20-year-old son. Reggie Berrios is an otherwise healthy young adult, running his own business after graduating from Sachem North High School but a kidney disease runs in his family, and he desperately needs a donor. His mom, Eleanor Di Maggio-Lalima, has started a social media campaign to find a donor for Reggie. Learn more about the campaign in the link. (Sachem Patch)
- Patch asks readers when it's OK to set off fireworks in the neighborhood. As we head into July 4 next weekend, fireworks will become commonplace in the sky. Check out answers Patch readers gave on when they believe it's OK for neighbors to shoot them off. (Patch)
