  1. Super Bowl Sunday safety. Today is Super Bowl Sunday which means friends, food, and good times. Whether you are heading out to watch the game or staying in with friends, make sure you don't get behind the wheel if you are drinking. Suffolk County Police will have extra patrols on the roads, and early morning snow with colder temperatures will make for slick driving conditions. The game kicks off at 6 with the Los Angelos Rams facing the Cincinnati Bengals. (Huntington Now)
  2. LI police plan Super Bowl boycott over Snoop Dogg halftime show. One of the highlights of the Super Bowl is the halftime show, with a nostalgic feeling this year for many 90's kids as the likes of Eminem and Snoop Dogg are hitting the stage. Long Island police officers don't feel the same way after Snoop Dogg's lyrics have promoted violence towards the police. In a Facebook post on Friday, Suffolk County's Police Benevolent Association's leadership condemned the rapper and said they will not be watching the game. The introduction's lyrics encourage listeners to take the guns that they are "using to shoot each other" and start shooting these b---- a-- motherf------p olice." "That'll impress a motherf----- n------- like me, the crooked mother-------," the lyrics continue. "Cause these police getting way too motherf----- outta line."(Sachem Patch)
  3. Snow accumulations expected this morning. Long Island winters are always unpredictable. We hope you all enjoyed the beautiful Saturday with temperatures reaching 60! Today is a much different story, with snow in the morning and a possible 1-3 inches expected. Colder temperatures will lead to slick driving conditions, so be careful going out to watch the big game.
