Sachem East High School Orientation Next Week
Sachem East to run its freshman introduction program on same day as North.
Sachem East High School announced the dates for its "Freshman Preview," an orientation seminar aimed at introducing the class of 2016 to their first year of high school.
The orientation is being held on Tuesday, August 21 at approximately 10:30 a.m. in the auditorium. The new students will see presentations from guidance councelors, students and administrators. Guided tours are also being offered to help ease student anxiety over how to get around in the building. If students can not attend the August 21 preview, it will be offered again on Monday, August 27.
The presentations will last until around 12:30 p.m. when students will receive their schedule, locker assignment and combination.

Parents Note: The PTA will also present at "Freshman Preview" and will have a manned table to sign up new members. Membership is $8.
