As part of the lesson students chose something to teach their classmates and demonstrated “how to” completely in Spanish. The topics students presented ranged from baking, cooking, art, crafts, life skills, music, sports and cultural practices. Some students presented in class, while other created videos, enhanced with graphics, sound effects and music.
Through acting out visuals and simple commands, students were able to follow along and understand the material being presented to them in an authentic context.
