Sachem Patch to Launch Biz Notebook

Beginning this month Sachem Patch will launch a Local Business Notebook, packed with news and notes from the area's business scene.

Patch is looking for members of the community - that's you - to submit content, news, notes, information, tidbits and anything you think might be interesting about local businesses for people to read about.

Here are some ideas we're looking to include:

• Promotions and individual growth ... know someone who was elected to a board or group, let us know!
• Mergers and acquisitions ... did two companies join forces, was another facility sold? We want to know.
• Deals, sales and trades ... anything that happens between businesses and their customers in the Sachem community, we want to know.
• Openings, closings, failures and success stories ... they're all newsworthy here.
• Did your neighbor invent a new item that's selling well? That might be a story in itself, but at the very least, it's a notebook item.
