Sachem Aftershock Robotics Team Honored

The Sachem Robotics Team, also known as Aftershock Team 263, had the opportunity to represent Sachem East and West at the 2015 FIRST Robotics Competition.

County Legis. Leslie Kennedy, R-Nesconset, along with Tom Muratore, R-Ronkonkoma, and Bill Lindsay, D-Holbrook, presented the team with congratulatory certificates for placing 14th out of 74 teams.

“I am so pleased to see our high school students so enthusiastic about math and technology and I am so proud of Team 263 performing so well on a national scale,” Kennedy said. “I am confident that these young men and women will go on to be great engineers one day.”
