Here is what Sachem voters need to know before they head to the polls on Nov. 2.

SACHEM, NY — Voters in the Sachem area will head to the polls Tuesday, Nov. 2, for the 2021 general election. Races such as the Suffolk County District Attorney and Legislature, as well as Brookhaven Town Clerk and more are on the ballot.

People can check their voting status and polling place on the New York state website.
Early voting is scheduled to run through Oct. 31. Early voting locations and times can be found here.
There are 12 early voting locations in Suffolk County. Here's what's closest for voters:

  • Brookhaven Town Hall, 1 Independence Hill, Farmingville
  • Nesconset Elementary School, 29 Gibbs Pond Rd., Nesconset

Polls on Election Day are slated to be open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
