Samoset Middle Science Students Study Punnett Squares

Mrs. Galligan and Mrs. Puma’s science classes at Samoset Middle School in the Sachem Central School District have recently learned about Punnett squares and, utilizing their newfound knowledge, students created their own Punnett squares using erasable chalk markers on the lab tables.

Throughout the activity students were truly engaged and were enthused to use a nontraditional learning material with a partner.
