Search Warrant Turns Up Drugs, Weapons At Ronkonkoma Home: Cops

BREAKING: A man and a woman living at the home were arrested Thursday morning, police say.

RONKONKOMA, NY – A investigation into a drug trafficking ring led police to a Ronkonkoma home Thursday morning where they found a stash of drugs and weapons, police said.

Two people–Shaquawn Mason, 25, and Susline Santana, 22 – living at the home located at 924 Easton St. were arrested, police said.

According to Nassau Police, detectives from the Narcotics Vice Bureau were investigating a narcotics trafficking organization that was distributing drugs including, heroin, cocaine and crystal methamphetamine on Long Island.

On Thursday around 5:30 a.m., detectives executed a search warrant at the Easton Street home with the assistance of the Suffolk County Police Department's Emergency Service Unit. Inside they found, 320 grams of cocaine, 130 grams of crack cocaine, 75 grams of heroin, 23 grams of crystal methamphetamine, packaging materials, scales, cutting agents, three loaded handguns, one high capacity ammunition magazine, numerous rounds of ammunition and over $10,000 in cash, police said.

Mason and Santana were arrested at the scene. They are each charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, third degree criminal possession of a weapon, fourth degree criminal possession of stolen property and three counts of fourth degree criminal possession of a weapon. Mason is also charged with second degree conspiracy.
