Selden Man Driving High On Drugs Crashes Car Into Home: Police

The 36-year-old, who had two outstanding warrants, was hospitalized after the crash on Thursday, police say.

COPIAGUE, NY - A Selden man crashed his car into a Copiague house while driving high on drugs on Thursday evening, according to Suffolk Police.

Taylor Lynne, 36, was driving a 1999 Toyota Camry on Verazzano Avenue, near the corner of Dixon Avenue, when he lost control of the car and crashed into the house on Verazzano Avenue at 5:15 p.m., police said.

Lynne was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

He was then arrested and charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, criminal possession of a controlled substance and two outstanding warrants, police said.
