Shake Shack Hosting RSVP Only Friends And Family Day, Mock Training Event, With 50 Percent Discount

HOLBROOK, NY — The latest Long Island Shake Shack at the The Shops at SunVet in Holbrook will be opening its doors for a special "Friends and Family" event on April 14, the day before opening, the Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce said.

It's a mock service training event to help the team prepare and train with guests before officially opening to the public.

They've invited a targeted list of Shack "friendlies" and community members to reserve a time slot and enjoy Shack fare at a 50 percent discount.

Shake staffers are asked that guests fill out a GEI survey to help us how they’re doing.

Only those with an RSVP will be admitted to the event, and they can only order one meal, including a sandwich, side, and a drink or shake.

At the grand opening, the first 100 people in the door will receive special Shake Shack swag. The first 500 people will receive a special voucher worth $5 for the next visit to Shake Shack.

In addition, on grand opening day, a $1 for every burger, chicken sandwich, and hot dog sold will be donated to Serve NY.

The Friends and Family event will run from 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The restaurant will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.
