Smithtown Driver Seriously Hurt In Lake Ronkonkoma Crash: Police
Police say 2 drivers were hospitalized after a crash at the Express Drive North Intersection.
LAKE RONKONKOMA, NY — Suffolk County Police Department detectives are investigating a crash in Lake Ronkonkoma that seriously injured a man Thursday evening, police said.
According to Suffolk County police, Brian Fearon was driving a 2010 Hyundai Accent westbound on Express Drive North when the vehicle struck a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer at the intersection of Pond Road around 5:49 p.m.
Fearon, 33, of Smithtown, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital with serious injuries, police said.

The driver of the Chevrolet, Sharon Condit, 61, of Ronkonkoma, was also transported to Stony Brook University Hospital with minor injuries, according to police.
Police said both vehicles were impounded for safety checks.
