A winter weather advisory has been expanded to all of Long Island as a quick-moving storm gets set to drop 2-4 inches of snow on the region Friday.

There's about a 40-50 percent chance of more than 2 inches accumulating, the National Weather Service says.

"Plan on snow covered roads, including during the evening commute," says the winter weather advisory, which will be in effect until 1 a.m. Saturday.
