Snow Likely For Long Island Thursday
It could be a slippery ride to work Thursday morning. A winter weather advisory has been issued.

An Alberta clipper system could bring enough snow to Long Island to make for a slippery commute Thursday morning.
A winter weather advisory will be in effect from 3 a.m. to 10 a.m., the National Weather Service says. A total of 2-3 inches of snow is expected to accumulate. There is about a 10 percent chance of 4-5 inches falling in Suffolk County.
Temperatures in the mid-2os Thursday morning means it won't take much snow to create hazardous conditions on the roadways.

Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving, the NWS says.
