Student Injured In Fight At Sachem School: Suffolk Police
The student had a concussion and required medical treatment at a local hospital, cops say
HOLTSVILLE, NY — An 11-year-old boy sustained a concussion in a fight with another student at Sagamore Middle School in Holtsville on Tuesday, Suffolk police said.
The fight broke out between two boys at about 11 a.m. and the injured boy was transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment, according to police. The names of the students were not released because they are minors. No charges were filed, a spokeswoman said.
Sachem Central School District officials did not respond to a request for comment.
