Weekly Suffolk Arrests: Child Sex Abuse, Weapon Threatening, Drugs

SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY — All of the following information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department.

A criminal charge is only an accusation and does not indicate a conviction.

First Precinct

• Aug. 23: Shereef Sam, 39, of Wheatley Heights was arrested in Deer Park and charged with two counts of third-degree grand larceny.
• Aug. 23: Raymond Alexander, 43, of the Bronx was arrested in Levittown and was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny. Alexander stole over $1,000 worth of property, according to the charge.
• Aug. 19: Roddy Galvezfernandez, 25, of Lindenhurst was arrested in Lindenhurst and was charged with third-degree criminal possession of stolen property. He was caught with over $3,000 worth of stolen property, according to the charge.

Second Precinct

• Aug. 21: Frankie Valenti, 31, of Melville was arrested in Huntington and was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He was caught with a loaded firearm, according to the charge.

Third Precinct

• Aug. 24: Deondray Crawford, 26, of Central Islip was arrested in Central Islip and was charged with two counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. Crawford was caught with a narcotic in his possession.
• Aug. 24: Dion Benjamin, 24, of Copiague was arrested and was charged with third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and criminal sale of a controlled substance. Benjamin had a narcotic, according to the charge.
• Aug. 23: Ahkeme Lubrun, 19, of Bay Shore was arrested in Bay Shore and was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon. Lubrun had a loaded gun, according to the charge.

Fourth Precinct

• Aug. 18: A 17-year-old male from Huntington Station was arrested in Smithtown and was charged with first-degree sexual abuse. He had sexual contact with a child under 11, according to the charge.
• Aug. 17: Michael Depascale, 26, of Ronkonkoma was arrested in Hauppauge and was charged with driving while intoxicated. Depascale has been previously convicted within the last 10 years, according to the charge.

Fifth Precinct

• Aug. 24: David Cruz, 31, of North Bellmore was arrested in Patchogue and was charged with assault with the intent to cause serious physical injury.
• Aug. 23: Timothy Swan, 34, of Bellport was arrested in Bellport and was charged with three counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, as well as one count of criminal possession of a controlled substance. Swan had a narcotic, according to the charge.
• Aug. 19: Carlitus Christensen, 27, of Medford was arrested in Medford and was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He had a loaded gun, according to the charge.

Sixth Precinct

• Aug. 22: Erick Navarrosalvador, 26, of Yaphank was arrested in Selden and was charged with driving while intoxicated. He has been previously convicted of DWI within the last 10 years, according to the charge.
• Aug. 21: Emmanuel Blake, 37, of Brooklyn was arrested in Farmingville and was charged with driving while intoxicated. Blake has been previously convicted of DWI within the last 10 years, according to the charge.
• Aug. 19: Dwayne Allan Murphy, 50, of Coram was arrested in Stony Brook and was charged with petty larceny and fourth-degree grand larceny. Murphy had a stolen credit card, according to the charge.

Seventh Precinct

• Aug. 22: Mackenzie Warren, 29, of Moriches was arrested in Moriches and was charged with second-degree menacing with a weapon.
• Aug. 22: Frank Brust, 37, of Mastic was arrested in Mastic and was charged with forcible touching and criminal mischief. Brust touched someone on an intimate part, according to the charge.
• Aug. 22: Hraklis Morris, 45, of Mastic Beach was arrested in Shirley and was charged with second-degree menacing with a weapon.
• Aug. 17: John Castiglione, 49, of Center Moriches was arrested in Center Moriches as a fugitive without a warrant.
