Suffolk PD Seeking Man Who 'Committed Lewd Act' In Holtsville

A 911 caller reported the man was in a dark-colored sedan on Division Street just before 9 p.m. last Thursday.

HOLTSVILLE, NY — Suffolk detectives have released a photo of a car they say was driven by a man who committed a lewd act in Holtsville last Thursday.

Police said that just before 9 p.m., a 911 caller reported that a man in a dark-colored sedan was committing a lewd act on Division Street. The suspect was described as white or Hispanic man in his 20s and with dark hair and facial hair, according to police.

Suffolk's Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest in the case. Anyone with information about the incident can contact Crime Stoppers to submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, or by using a mobile app that can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips. A tip can also be submitted online at www.P3Tips.com.
