Suffolk Police Officer Hurt In Crash
BREAKING: The officer was responding to a call when the crash occurred Monday morning, police say.

SELDEN, NY — Two people were injured, including a Suffolk County Police officer, in a crash in Selden Monday morning.
According to police, an officer from the Sixth Precinct was responding to a call for an aided case in Selden and traveling west on Roslyn Avenue when the police car collided with a 2015 Dodge that was heading north on Adirondack Drive.
The male officer and the driver of the Dodge were transported to Stony Brook University Hospital with minor injuries.

Police did not say if the sirens on the police car where activated at the time of the crash.
