Suffolk Police Searching For Suspect Who Swiped Credit Card, Cash From Deli In Ronkonkoma

It happened on Dec. 7, Suffolk police say.

RONKONKOMA, NY — Suffolk police say they are seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect they say swiped a credit card and some cash from Lakoma Bagel and Deli in Ronkonkoma in December.

During an investigation, detectives determined a man found the wallet inside of the Pond Road deli at around 5:45 p.m. on Dec. 7, and swiped cash and credit cards
from it.

In an image taken from security video, the man can be seen wearing an olive green parka and baseball cap, as well as black sunglasses.

Detectives from the 4th Squad in Smithtown are investigating the incident as grand larceny, according to a police news release.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest in the case.
