Suffolk Police Seek Info On Catalytic Converter Theft In Holtsville
Police say three males in a silver Mercedes stole the part from a Honda Accord Sept. 15.

HOLTSVILLE, NY — Suffolk are seeking the public’s help in finding three people they say stole a catalytic converter from a sedan in Holtsville last month.
Police say three males wearing dark clothing got out of a silver Mercedes and used a hydraulic lift and cutting tools to steal a catalytic converter from a Honda Accord which was parked on Gazebo Lane on Sept. 15 just after 5 a.m.

Suffolk Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest in the case. Anyone with information about the theft can submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, a confidential police hotline, or by using a mobile app, which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips. Tips can also be submitted online at www.P3Tips.com.
All calls, text messages, and emails will be kept confidential, police said.
