Suffolk Police Seek Man Who Used Sledgehammer During Burglaries
Police release surveillance photos of man wanted in burglaries earlier this year. Reward offered for info leading to an arrest.
Suffolk Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a man who burglarized two businesses in March.
According to police, the man entered Windows on the Lake, located at 235 Lake Shore Road in Lake Ronkonkoma, and used a sledge hammer to attempt to enter the employee office on March 31 at about 1:40 a.m.
The same man entered Brownstone Brewery, located at 200 Portion Road in Lake Ronkonkoma, about two hours later. The man was carrying a crowbar and a sledgehammer. He fled without proceeds.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
