Suspect Swiped Vaccums Worth More Than $1K From Target On Long Island: Police

The cleaners were taken from the Independence Plaza store at around 5:35 p.m. on Oct. 16, Suffolk police say.

SELDEN, NY — Suffolk police are asking the public’s help in identifying a suspect they say swiped two Dyson vacuum cleaners worth around $1,180 from Target in Selden back in October.

Police say a man swiped the vacuum cleaners from the Independence Plaza store at around 5:35 p.m. on Oct. 16.

In images from security video, the suspect can be seen wearing a white sweatshirt, light-colored pants, and a black baseball cap.
